Raymond Frank Byrd, 84, of Pensacola, FL passed away peacefully on Monday, September 14, 2105 at Covenant Hospice. Raymond was born on February 11, 1931 in Pensacola, FL. He joined the US Army March 6, 1952 and served for two years. He then began a career at Monsanto/Chemstrand from where he retired.Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, John Fredrick Byrd and Dixie Margrete Mize Byrd.Raymond is survived by his wife, Joyce Byrd; son, Tim Byrd and his wife, Felicia; grandson, John Byrd and his wife, Lauren; granddaughter, Bridget Byrd; four great grandchildren, Dalton Bowen, Jada Archer, Bristol Byrd and Bailey Byrd; brothers, John Byrd, Jr., Donnie Byrd, Bobby Newell; a multitude of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and a large extended family.Raymond's family will have a graveside service at Pensacola Memorial Gardens, 7433 Pine Forest Rd.
