Glenn Jason Graves, 83, of Christopher, Illinois passed away at 11:50 p.m., Wednesday, July 4, 2007 at his home. Glenn was born April 28, 1924 in Marsville, Missouri to Lawrence and Verda Graves. He married Helen Joan Medavrich February 14, 1945 in San Jose, California. She survives in Christopher. Other survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Sue and Dale Bright of California; a sister, Reathea Shipman of Tucson, Arizona and several nieces and nephews. His parents; a sister, Virginia and a brother Ervin Graves preceded him in death. Mr. Graves was a welder and had operated a dairy farm with his wife, Helen in Stockton, Missouri. He was of the Protestant faith. Funeral services for Mr. Graves will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, July 6, 2007 at Vantrease Funeral Home in Zeigler with Brother Kent Robinson officiating. Burial will be at Zeigler Cemetery. Visiting hours are after 10 a.m., Friday at the funeral home prior to the services.
