Vincent Harry Anderson was born October 24, 1927 in Kulm, ND to Gust and Helga (Erickson) Anderson. Vince attended schools in the Kulm area and lived and farmed in the Kulm community all of his life. Vince married Arleth Bjur on November 25, 1949. They had four children. Arleth passed away June 12, 1967.
He married Arla Johnson in Cando, ND on July 17, 1970. He was active in the Kulm Assembly of God and held various positions throughout his life. Vince enjoyed all sports whether playing them or watching them. He played on various baseball and softball teams. He also played basketball and in later years became a passionate golfer. One of his last comments to his children was “Do you want to go to the ball game? We can get some pizza.” His strong relationship with God showed in his relationships with his family and friends.
Vince is survived by his wife of 45 years, Arla Anderson; three sons, Gary (Jeanne) Anderson, Lloyd (Loretta) Anderson, and Dennis (Sherri) Anderson; one daughter, Diane (Stephen) Glenn; five siblings, Eugene (Lucille) Anderson, Judith Loven, Arley (Joyce) Anderson, June (Lamoine) Beaver, and Joe (Shirley) Anderson; 15 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Arleth, his parents, two sisters and four brothers-in-law
