Anita Joyce (Haste) Baker, 60, of Bedford, passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2015, at her residence.
Born November 20, 1954, in Lawrence County, Indiana, she was the daughter of William and Dorothy (Watterson) Haste.
She married Mike Baker on December 27, 2012; and he survives.
She was a graduate of Heltonville High School. Anita retired from Regal Beloit where she worked in Logistics. She was of the Protestant Faith. Anita loved to cook, Nene’s Collectibles, and spend time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are her husband, Mike Baker; one son, Jay Morris and Fiancé’ Rachel Hart, of Danville, IN; mother, Dorothy, of Bedford; one brother, Mark (Tracy) Haste, of Lizton, IN; one sister, Cathy (Rusty) Collier, of Bedford; four grandchildren, Amaya Morris, Ajanih Henry, Peyton, and Gracie.
She was preceded in death by her father and son, Jeremy Morris.
Funeral service will be on Friday, September 18, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home, with Roland Holtsclaw officiating. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call on Thursday, 4-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
