Elizabeth Cramer Michaelson, 83, died Wednesday January 15, 1997 in a Rhode Island Hospital.

Born to Edwin and Elsa Cramer August 7, 1913 in Milwaukee. Married Stanley D. Michaelson, form Chief Engineer of Kennecott Copper Corp., he preceded her in death. She graduated from the former Downer Seminary in Milwaukee and attended Chicago Art Institute and Northwestern University. "Betty", as she was known, was active in community and church affairs. She was a member of the Junior League of Milwaukee, Birmingham and Salt Lake City, the Town Club and the Alta Club of Salt Lake; The Utah Ballet Guild, the development group of Westminster College. She was a member of the Altar Guild of the Diocese of Utah, St. Paul's Church and a founding member of both All Saints' Church and St. James' Church in Salt Lake City. At the time of her death she was a member of St. Michael and Grace Church in Rumford, RI.

Survived by son: Rev. Peter Michaelson, Rector of St. Micheal & Grace Church in Rumford, RI. Two grandchildren; brother Edwin R. Cramer of Minneapolis.

A memorial service will be held Monday January 20, at 11 a.m. at St. Michael & Grace Church 1336 Pawtucket Ave., Rumford, RI.

Interment will of cremated remains will take place next summer in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Salt Lake City. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 261 S. 900 E., Salt Lake City, UT 84102 or St. Michael & Grace Church in Rumford. Funeral directors Evans & Early.
