Betty Jo Tindle Cotten Brock Parsley age 75 of Doyle, Tennessee passed away on Sunday September 13, 2015 in Doyle.
Mrs. Parsley was born on March 14, 1940 in Sparta, Tennessee to the late
Sam Bo Tindle and Josie Mae Deaton Tindle.
She was a retired housekeeper at River Park Hospital in McMinnville and was a member of Shiloh Church of God of the Prophecy. She was also preceded in death by husbands
Ralph Cotten and Hack Brock;
her sons Harold Dortch and
Timothy Wayne Dortch;
brothers R.L. Tindle and Buck Tindle.
Her survivors include her husband
William 'Donald' Parsley.
Daughter - Tara Ann (Jackie) Shepherd [of
Ft. Knox, Kentucky]
Son - Roy David Dortch [of Chicamauga, Georgia]
Sisters - Ann Jones of Indiana and
Sue Richardson of Tennessee
Brothers: Charles Tindle,
Elbert Ray Tindle, John Leonard
Step-daughter - Wanda Gribble.
Services will be Thursday, September 17, 2015 in the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with interment in Anderson Cemetery.
Carl Seibers and Chad Bagley will officiate.
Tommy Price, Jackie Shepherd, Wade McBride, Dale Ward, Matt Ballew, Johnny McBride, James Tindle, and Raleigh Barger will serve as pallbearers.

Betty Jo Tindle married Ralph D Cotton on Nov 21,1959. #34904856. When he died, she had him buried at Old Bybee Chapel Cemetery in Warren Co. and her name is on his headstone # 34904861. She later married Haskel Brock and he was buied in Anderson Cemetery #2 located in White Co, Tn . After he died, Betty married a third time to Mr. Parsley. At her request, she was buried with Haskel Brock in Anderson Cem , White CO. Because her name is on both headstones, I requested that the memorials some how be linked together. She is not buried at Old Bybee's Chapel , but at Anderson #2 in White Co.
