Sherry (Watts) Morrow, 67, of Ti Valley, died Monday, Sept. 14, 2015, at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa. Born Nov. 11, 1947, in Bugtussle, she was the daughter of William Earl and Mary Edith (Lalman) Watts. She married Billy Joe Morrow on Aug. 30, 1969, in Haileyville. She taught special education in Alaska, Fort Wingate, New Mexico, Monroe Middle School in Tulsa and retired from Panola schools. She was the author of the book "Lady Of The Hills" and enjoyed knitting, hunting, fishing, cooking, gardening, travel, was a member of the Lake Eufaula Rod and Gun Club and the Veterans of Foreign Ward Ladies Auxiliary. She was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Hartshorne. She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents, Robert E. and Serena (Shrum) Watts, and George E. and Ida (Woods) Lalman; sister-in-law, Mary Ann Morrow; brothers-in-law, Tommy Morrow, Dickie Morrow and Tony Wallis, and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Pauline and Joe Morrow. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 18, at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Hartshorne with the Rev. Clint Pope officiating. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery in Hartshorne. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Brumley-Mills Funeral Home of Hartshorne.
