Jordan Schneider, a cabinet maker, who resided at No 623 Pike Street, Lewisburg, while on his way home from Cincinnati last evening, fell while overcome by the heat, near the corner of Fith and Main Streets.

He was assisted by Officer Mike O'Hare to the office of Dr. Craig Fenley, near Sixth Street, where all that could be had was done for him, but without avail, as he died in about twenty minutes.

Deceased was a sober, industrious temperate man, and was a man of family.

An inquest by held by Coroner de Gruyter and a jury, which resulted in a verdict of "death from excessive health".
