Richard “Rick” Memmott passed away at his home in Moab on Saturday, Aug. 22, 2015, surrounded by his family.
Rick, son of Harmon and Klea Memmott, was born on Nov. 16, 1952 in Nephi, Utah. Rick is one of five children. His siblings are Milton, of Scipio, Utah, Marcia Miller, married to Russell, of Richfield, Utah, Ann, married to Kirk Herbert, of Monroe, Utah, and Danny, married to Annette Memmott of Jensen, Utah.
At age 19, Rick married his best friend and soulmate, Jan Warner. Together, they raised two children, Richard Lee and Lyndi Ann.
Rick loved spending time with his children and his six grandchildren — Kaiden, Skylee, Logan, Gracie, Sean and Kelly.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 29, at the Moab Second Ward. Burial services will be at Sunset Garden Memorial Gardens
