Carolyn "Vivian" Aldridge Gregory, 74, of Hemby Bridge, NC, passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at home. Funeral services in celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, September 3, 2015 at Heritage Funeral Home, Weddington Chapel at 2:00PM. Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM until 1:45 PM. Interment will follow the service at Forest Lawn East Cemetery.
Vivian was born on December 5, 1940 in Rowan County, NC, daughter to the late James Garvin Aldridge and Ruby Glennie Byrd Aldridge. In addition to her parents, her beloved husband, Ron Gregory preceded her in passing on February 18, 2014. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to all and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Vivian was a hard worker and loved spending time with and taking care of her family.
Survivors include her son Ronnie Gregory ( Ann Marie Swain) of Hemby Bridge; granddaughters Brittany Walton and husband Cory of Monroe and Melanie Gregory Spence and husband Chris of Hemby Bridge; great-grandchildren Brody Alexander Spence and Noah Ryder Spence of Hemby Bridge; and by Elaine Harper and her son Warren Harper of Stallings who was like a sister to her.
