Charles Henry Bartleson was born June 8, 1887, in Wayne County, Ky., the son of Jim and Eliza Bartleson and departed this life July 13, 1951 at 3:50 A.M., being 64 years, 3 weeks and 4 days old. He was united in marriage with Anna Stigall, October 12, 1909, and to this union 8 children were born, one son preceded him in death.

He was a member of St. John Church and was for many years a Trustee and Steward of his Church. He was a K. of P. Mason and served as chairman of the Colored Cemetery Association.

He is survived by his wife, Anna Bartleson; 4 daughters, Mrs. Easie Daugherty and Olena Bartleson of Muncie, Ind., Mrs. Jack Ramsey of Cincinnati, Ohio, Mrs. Evelyn Coffey of Milwaukee. Wis.; 3 sons, Henry of Cincinnati, Mermen and Milton of Milwaukee: 1 brother, 1 sister and a host of friends and relatives to mourn his passing.

at the Somerset Hospital Tuesday
morning following a short
sickness. He had suffered from
Diabetes for some time and was
taken sick Sunday night and taken
to the hospital where he failed
to respond to treatment.

He is survived by his wife and
several children.
