Shelia Valdez Mitchell, age 87, passed away Sunday, September 13, 2015.
Shelia was born in San Angelo, Texas to the late Guillermo and Anastasia (Guebara) Valdez.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers and two sisters.
Survivors include two sons, Mario Sanchez and wife Clara and Ray Sanchez and wife Marie both of Abilene; daughter, Ashley Mitchell; granddaughter, Marlene Sanchez Petlo of Abilene; former daughter-in-law, Sylvia Sanchez of Abilene and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Monday (today) September 14, 2015 from 6pm to 8pm at the Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 5701 Hwy 277 South. Funeral Services are scheduled for 2pm Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at the Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home with burial following in the Elliott-Hamil Garden of Memories Cemetery.
