Grace Larsen 90, passed away June 5, 1999 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Born February 16, 1909 to Arthur and Millie Christensen in Gunnison, Utah. She went to grade school there, then on to Manti, Ephraim and Salt Lake. Grace graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in Education. Grace taught school at Altamont, Gunnison and Salt Lake for a total of 35 years. She married Douglas F. Larsen and they had forty two years of happiness together. They had one daughter, Dr. Sydney Post. Grace had a long and happy life. She was an avid traveler, going to many places throughout the world.

Grace was a person of many talents, oil and water color paintings were of great interest to her. She was an avid bridge player, loved music and enjoyed developing part singing in her fifth grade class.

Survived by: daughter M.Sydney Post (Harry), two grandchildren she loved dearly, Josh and Jamie Post, and one brother, David Christensen.

Preceded in death by: husband, parents, twin sister, Glady Christensen, brothers Melrose, Wesley and Max.

Funeral service will be held on Thur. June 10, 1999, 12 noon at Valley View 11th Ward (4032 So. 2300 E.), where friends and family may call from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m. prior to the service. Funeral Directors Memorial Estates Mortuary. Internment Mount Olivet Cemetery 1342 East 500 South.
