Born in Girardville, June 17, 1934, she was a daughter of the late Ralph and Mary Cataldo Tenaglia.
A graduate of Frackville High School, Class of 1952, Rosemary received a business certification from the former Ford School of Business and worked at the former Bell of Pennsylvania as a telephone operator.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Frackville.
Rosemary was a loving and devoted wife, mother, caregiver and grandmother.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, W. Ronald Dixon, on Jan. 19, 2015; a daughter-in-law, Tina L. Dixon, in 2010; a sister-in-law, Mary Mykolayko Tenaglia.
Rosemary is survived by a son, Brad C. Dixon, Frackville; a daughter, Robin L. Fritz and her husband, Nelson, Benton; four grandchildren, Cullen Dixon, Nicholas Dixon, Caleb Fritz and his wife, Elizabeth, and Joshua Fritz and his wife, Sandy; three great-grandchildren, Michael, Maria and Linnea Fritz; two brothers, James Tenaglia, Frackville and Phillip Tenaglia and his wife, Carol, Frackville; nieces and nephews.
Religious services were held at First United Methodist Church, Frackville, with Pastor Jonathan Hall officiating. Interment was in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Shenandoah Heights. Albert L. Gricoski Funeral Home, Frackville, had charge of arrangements.
