Surviving are his loving wife of 61 years, Mert McLain; daughter, Kim (Dean) Ransdell; sons, Michael (Tina Narick) McLain and Keith (Francine) McLain; grandchildren, Sean (Grace) Riggenbach, Morgen McLain, Jacob McLain, and Howard Bertrand; and great-grandson, Bruce.
Along with his parents, Ken was preceded in death by his sister, Patricia Caughman.
Family and friends are invited to visit on Monday, September 14, 2015 from 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington Springmill Road, Ontario. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home, conducted by Rev. David Root. Military graveside services conducted by the Richland County Joint Veteran's Burial Detail will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park.
