Mr. Ferguson, 84, of Parsons, died Wednesday, September 2, 2015, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. A funeral service was held Sunday, September 6, 2015, 2:00 p.m., at Parsons Mortuary Chapel, with Greg Stanford officiating. Burial was at Whitwell Chapel Cemetery in Perry County. He was the son of the late Vera Mae Johnson Ferguson and Cecil Robert Ferguson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Jeanie Hemby, and one brother, Edward Ferguson. Survivors include his wife, Mickie Ramey Ferguson of Parsons; a son, Mike Ferguson of Parsons; daughters, Cindy (Billy) Alley of Linden, Denise (Mark) Stokes of Parsons, and Martha Ann Renfroe of Parsons; a brother, Raymond Ferguson of Germantown; nine grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
