John H. Green, 76, of Miami, W.Va., died Wednesday in St. Clair Medical Center Morehead, Ky., after a long illness. He was retired from Truex-Trearer Coal Co. of Acme and a member of the UMWA.
Surviving: son, Edward of Salina, Ohio; daughter, Mrs. John L. Gilbert of Olive Hill, Ky.; sisters, Mrs. Lillian Stamper of Miami, Mrs. Lizzie Johnson of Whitesville.
Service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in Leonard Johnson Funeral Home, Marmet, with the Rev. G. Forrest Sparks officiating.
Burial will be in Red Warrior Cemetery. Leewood. Friends may call today after 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
