Sarah Kathryn Hicks, age 67 of Wayton, Arkansas passed away Thursday, September 10, 2015 at her home.

The daughter of Paul and Josephine (Arbaugh) Raney was born on March 9, 1948 at Mt. Sherman, Arkansas.

Kathryn had worked as a receptionist for Newton County Family Practice in Jasper for many years and was a member of the Jasper First Assembly of God Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Josephine Raney and one sister, Margaret Raney Daniels Kelley.

Survivors are her husband, Gary Hicks of Wayton, Arkansas; two sons and daughters-in-law, Scott and Kelly Hicks of Huntsville, Arkansas and Steve and Denise Hicks of Wayton, Arkansas; one daughter and son-in-law, Shelly and Gary Smith of Vendor, Arkansas; one brother, Earl Raney and wife Erika of Mt. Sherman, Arkansas; one sister, Pauline Madewell and husband Larry of Mt. Sherman, Arkansas; six grandchildren, Channing Hicks and wife Amanda, Laken Smith Clark and husband Curtis, Alyssa "Widdee" Hicks, Kalee Smith, Dawson Hicks and Trayson Hicks; three great-grandchildren, Braylon Hicks, Tinley Hicks and Ryker Hicks; and many other family and friends.

Funeral services will be Monday, September 14, 2015 at 2 p.m. at the Jasper First Assembly of God Church with Brother Steve Holt and Brother Kenny Clark officiating. Burial will follow in the Wayton Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Channing Hicks, Dawson Hicks, Trayson Hicks, Curtis Clark, Earl Raney, Larry Madewell and Ronnie Daniels. Honorary pallbearers will be Doyne Kelley, Sherman Murray, Gene Bishop, Jimmy Justice, Floyd Collins and Richard Teskey.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, September 13, 2015 at Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper.
