THOMAS, Ramey (Ray) C. 88, passed away quietly with his family by his side in Mt. Juliet, TN. Born July 4, 1927 in Laurel, MS, he came from humble beginnings. He joined the Navy during WWII and while at boot camp married and began a family.

He was employed by Rainbo Baking Co. and was eventually promoted to President of the Sacramento, CA plant in Oak Park. He retired after 40 successful years from his passion in the baking business. After retirement, he moved to Sun City, AZ.

As his health began to fail and after a divorce, he moved to the Nashville area to the care of his family. He loved and was loved by his family, friends and customers. He was a great mentor and cherished his business relationships.

He is survived by his sister, 3 children, 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 16th at 11 am at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet with a graveside service following at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers send donations in his memory to Wounded Warrior Project.
