Margaret C. Wilkerson, of Lenoir City, passed away Friday, April 20, 2007 at her home. She was a member of First Baptist Church and retired from Charles H. Bacon Company. Margaret enjoyed quilting with her friends at Central United Methodist Church, spending time with her family and working in her yard. She was preceded in death by mother and father, Sudie (Smith) and Walter Chaney, Sr.; brothers, Walter Chaney, Jr. and Don Chaney; sister, Kathleen Chaney; special friend, Dorothy Stewart. She is survived by a daughter and her husband, a son, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, a sister-in-law and her family; special cousins. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund. The family will receive friends from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Click Funeral Home. Family and friends will gather at 2 p.m. Sunday at Corinth Cemetery in Loudon for graveside services. Click Funeral Home, 109 Walnut Street, Lenoir City is serving the Wilkerson family.
