David Burrow was born April 15, 1779 in NC and died Nov. 10, 1845 in Ballard Co., KY.
During the War of 1812, David was a Private in the 5th REG'T (ATKINSON'S) NC Militia. For his service he received a Land Grant in KY.
In 1810 and 1820 David and Elizabeth were in Orange Co., NC. By 1830 the family was in Hickman Co., KY

The Settlement of David’s Estate was recorded in Ballard Co., KY in 1852.

Elizabeth and David had 11 children:
1. Delilia b. abt 1806, m. 1st Tobias May 1825, m. 2nd Moses Atherton 1830, m. 3rd Mr. Withrow
2. Ellen, b. abt 1808, m. Canada Atherton 1830
3. Elizabeth, b. abt 1809
4. Lettie Alice, 1810-1890, m. Jacob Hamilton
5. Margaret, 1811-1890, m. John Moyers 1829
6. Nimrod, 1815-1887, never married, murdered by neighbor Jack Russell
7. Emanuel, 1817-1850
8. John Ephlen, 1821-1899, m. 1st Eliza J. Chenault 1844, m. 2nd Charlotte Bradshaw, m. 3rd Alphasine Eva Robertson
9. Mary E., 1825-1873, m. cabinet maker Joseph DeJarnett 1859

Elizabeth is buried here with her son Nimrod and probably other family members whose tombstones have been destroyed.
