Our dearest husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend quietly passed away at sunrise on July 14, 1995. He was surrounded by his family who was always the center of his life.

Together they shared nearly 54 wonderful years of marriage. His growing up years were spent in Lewiston, later moving to Salt Lake City. But Lewiston was always his home to return to, and where the family traveled for many occasions. Phil will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor. He had a superb talent for one-line wittisims, leaving a wake of laughter at the least expected times. He had a beautiful voice and loved to sing.He was an entrepreneur and owner of several businesses in drug sundries and health care services. He founded the Seagul Sales Co., and held the patent for the childrens toy HOPPY TAW. He loved University of Utah sports, Utah Jazz, and golfing with friends. He was a member of Footprinters, BPOE's, the Sugarhouse Chamber of Commerce, Argenta Lodge No. 3 F&AM, York Rite, Wasatch Presbyterian Church, and was also a Shriner.
