MARION, VA Gracie Louise Clark, age 79 passed away Wednesday September 9, 2015 at the Smyth County Community Hospital. Mrs. Clark was born in Smyth County, VA to the late William F. Asbury & Ethel Olinger Asbury and was preceded in death by her first husband Charles Edward Richardson, her second husband John L. Clark, and an infant daughter April, her sister Jean Trail and a special friend Britton Ward Ratcliff, Jr. She had worked as a cook at the Swamp Fox & Marion College. She also worked at Brunswick. Survivors include: Children: Becky Buck & husband Harvey, Atkins,VA, Doug Richardson, Marion,VA, Al Richardson & wife Chong, Panama City, FL, Tim Richardson & wife Rebecca, Marion, VA, Bryan Richardson & wife Melanie, Marion, VA, Mark Richardson, Marion, VA, Grandchildren: Jennifer Powers, Adam Richardson, Amanda Buck,Trevor Richardson, Leigh Black, Brandi Richardson, April Polk, Zach Richardson, Sasha Greer, Ten Great Grandchildren Brothers: Berkley Asbury & wife Sheila, Morganton, NC, William Asbury & wife LeeAnn, Greensboro, NC, Roger Asbury & wife Eunice, Abingdon,VA, Sister in Law: Ruth Gentry, Nieces & Nephews also survive, Special Pet: Holly Private graveside services and burial will be held at the Rich Valley Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Pastor Mike Sage officiating.
