Martha Esther Richardson was born in Pratt Kansas and grew up in a large extended family. She was one of six children born to George & Hattie Richardson. She married Loren Davis Coffman at a young age and had her son Dewane, her only child. She lived in Kansas, Arizona, and California during her lifetime. She married William "Bud" Sorden whom she met in Arizona. She had a career in the culinary arts and also spent many hours making handmade items for friends and family with her many sewing & embroidery talents. She spent her last years surrounded by family in Kansas, but is buried with her beloved husband "Bud" in the High Desert of California where they lived for many years.
