George Lee Foley

George Lee Foley, 74, a resident of Dothan passed away Thursday September 10, 2015 at his residence.

Funeral Services will be held 2 pm Tuesday September 15, 2015 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chuck Locke and Rev. Tim Willis officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends from 1pm until 2pm Tuesday.

Mr. Foley was born June 22, 1941 in Albuquerque, New Mexico and lived the early years there. He joined the U.S. Air Force and served for 20 years till his retirement 1992 as a Financial Management Supervisor. He moved to Dothan in 1978 and was married the love of his life, JoAnne Ward in 1986. He resided in Dothan most of his life and was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife JoAnne W. Foley; two sisters, Pat Haley (Wilford) and Mary Lou Foley; several nieces and nephews also survive.
