Vicinity Deaths ~ Clark Updyke
Beaver Dams, December 5 ~ Clark Updyke died at his home Tuesday morning following an illness of four months. Mr. Updyke was born June 20, 1871, in Gillett, Pennsylvania. He had lived in Beaver Dams for 15 years.
The funeral was held at the Monterey Baptist Church at 2 o'clock this afternoon. Interment was in the Montour Falls Cemetery.
The decedent Is survived by his widow; one son, Ruben, of Geneva; one daughter, Mrs. Clarence Heckman of Watkins Glen; two brothers, John and A. L. Updyke, of Gillett; and one sister Mrs. Lida Sisson Daggett of Gillett.
