MIDVALE--Alberta Grace Carbis Gadd, 79, a loving mother and grandmother, passed away November 8, 1993, in a Murray hospital.

Born March 1, 1914 in Salt Lake City, Utah, to William O. and Mona Mae Forbes Carbis. Married Kenneth Dean Gadd on May 10, 1941; he died July 12, 1957. Retired office manager for the Paris Co. Member of First Congregational Church and Naomi Rebecca Lodge #1 of Salt Lake City.

Survived by daughters, Marcia Hardcastle, and her husband, Dennis; Sheila Gill, and her husband, Lowell; six grandchildren, Todd, Mark, Carole, Michelle, Michael, Jeffrey; five great-grandchildren, Steven, Sara, Amberley, Lindsey, Tyson; sister, Evelyn Dobson. Preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

Graveside services will be held Friday, November 12, 1993, 11 a.m., at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 1342 East 500 South, SLC. Friends may call Thursday 6:30-8 p.m. and Friday 10-10:30 a.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State, Murray.
