Leora Pauline Crawford, 86, of Mountain Home, Ark., formerly of Steele, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2015, in Mountain Home, Ark. She was born to the late Jessie Franklin Barger and Sally Huey Barger in Cooter on Oct. 17, 1928. She was of the Baptist faith and employed in the health care industry.
Mrs. Crawford was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Crawford Jr.; one daughter, Vicki Sentell Crawford, and one son, Richard Earl Crawford.
Survivors of Mrs. Crawford include one brother, Dee Barger; two granddaughters, Leatha Mitchell and Jeanna Hinegardner; one grandson, John Crawford; one sister-in-law, Judy Hildebrand; one daughter-in-law, Laura Crawford Bishop; seven great-grandchildren, Ashley Skeen, Amy Crawford, Richard Hindgardner, Alicia Atkinson, Jennifer Mitchell, Rowland Mitchell III, and Sara Masters, three great great grandchildren and many friends and relatives.
Funeral services for Mrs. Crawford were held Friday, Sept. 11 at John W German Funeral Chapel in Steele with Bro. John Earl Dunavant officiating. Interment followed at Mt. Zion Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Ralph Ford, John Crawford, David Bishop, Jeremy Roberts, Joseph Roberts and Jimmy Skaggs.
John W. German Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
