Dixie C. Corbin, 72, of Terre Haute, passed away at 8:41 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2008, in Union Hospital. She was born May 27, 1936, in Mansfield, Ohio, to Carl Kauffman and Mildred Blackman Kauffman.
She is survived by two daughters, Kathy Riddle and Doris Downie both of Terre Haute; one son, David Fie, of Austin, Texas; one sister, Virginia Price of Brazil; five grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by both parents; one brother, Guy Kauffman; one sister, Joan Young; two sons, Daniel and James and one daughter, Christina.
Funeral services are 10 a.m. Friday at Highland Lawn Chapel with the Rev. Mark Grayless officiating. Burial will be in Highland Lawn Cemetery. Callahan-DeBaun Funeral Home, 2425 Wabash Ave. assisted with arrangements.
