Viva Decker (1913 - 1963)
Viva Decker (nee Revelle) of Van Buren, Missouri departed this life February 20, 1963 at the Lucy Lee Hospital in Poplar Bluff at the age of 49 years, ten months and nine days. She was the daughter of Raymond and Hattie Revelle, formerly of Farmington, Missouri.
Viva was a graduate of the Farmington High School, class of 1932.
She is survived by her husband Frank and two children of the home - Kenny and Karen; three children from a previous marriage - Mrs. Harriet Whitchurch of Knob Lick, Missouri, Robert Seufert of St. Louis and Mrs. Betty Fairchild of Van Buren, Missouri; her mother and father; three sisters - Mrs. Lora Wagener of Springfield, Ohio, Mrs. Beulah Blackburn of Poplar Bluff, Missouri and Mrs. Isabell Dace of Arnold, Missouri; one half sister and brother - Mrs. Benita Chitwood of Robertsville, Missouri and Fred Deckard of Drosco, Arkansas; eight grandchildren, other relatives and a host of friends.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday, February 23, 1963 at 1:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Van Buren, Missouri.
Burial was in the Pender Cemetery under the direction of the McSpadden Funeral Service.
