August Paul Spitko Jr., age 89, died March 16, 1994 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Born September 17, 1904 in Salt Lake City, Utah to August Paul Sr. and Emma Getzchman Spitko. He was employed for 29 years by Carpenter Paper Company and subsequently by Rocky Mountain Wholesale Drug. He attended the University of Utah. Member of the First Presbyterian Church in Salt Lake City. He was also a member of Kaibab Lodge #25 F.&A.M.

Survivors include two daughters, Joan Spitko Jorgensen, Darlene Koepp Cloud; six grandchildren, Greg Jorgensen, Kathleen Jorgensen, Lori Jorgensen Dosen, Michael Jorgensen, Christine Cloud, and Mark Cloud; three great-grandchildren, Dylan Jorgensen, Erica Jorgensen, and Rachael Dosen. Preceded in death by first wife, Gladys Howarth; second wife, Loraine Eichers; three brothers and three sisters.

Public Masonic funeral services will be held Monday, March 21, 1994 at 11 a.m. at Evans & Early Mortuary Chapel, 574 East 1st South, Salt Laek City. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 7-8 p.m. at Evans & Early Mortuary. Interment at Mount Olivet Cemetery. Funeral directors: Evans & Early.
