ZEBULON - Rickey Ray "Rick" Long, 62, died Thursday, Dec. 23, 2010 at his home. A memorial service was held Tuesday, Dec. 28, at Corinth Baptist Church, Zebulon. Inurment took place in the church cemetery.
He was born in Roxboro to the late Harvey Long and Alma Ricardo Long. He was presently working with HDM Associates out of Chesapeake, Va.
Surviving: wife, Carolyn Davis Long; sons, Scott Long (Mandy) of Winston-Salem, Jeff Long (Chrissy) of Valerico, Fla.; stepdaughter, Lauren Rodriguez (Brandon) of Wendell; brother, Donnie Long of Raleigh; and five grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Corinth Baptist Church Youth Ministry, 13450 NC Highway 96, Zebulon, NC 27597.
