James Nash DeHart, 69, of Stuart, died Oct. 8, 2012, at his home. He was born in Patrick County on Aug. 1, 1943, to Dorothy Harbour DeHart of Woolwine and James Edward DeHart.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Lorrie Ann Pack; and a grandson, Bobby Wayne Lawson.
He was a member of Skyline Pentecostal Holiness Church, and was retired from J.P. Stevens where he worked for 20 years.
Surviving in addition to his mother, are his wife of 50 years, Anna Doshie Fuqua DeHart; two daughters, Valerie Lawson and Amy Wilson; one son, Matt DeHart; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one sister, Lillie Hylton of Woolwine.
Burial will be in Patrick Memorial Gardens.
