Sylvia was born in DeKalb County, TN., on September 16, 1928 to Henry P. and Effie (Love) Driver. She married James Amos Bridgman Sr., May 14, 1948.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband in 1994 and four brothers; Houston, Garlin, Roy and Winston Driver.
She is survived by children; James Amos Jr., Jennifer Elosie and June Ellen and several grandchildren.
She was laid to rest beside her husband in the Decatur Cemetery, Decatur, Dekalb County, Atlanta, GA.
