Mrs. Walters was born June 18, 1898, in Gibson City, a daughter of Lucian L. and Lady Capitola Wendell Matthews.
She married Charles F. Walters Dec. 24, 1919, in Gibson City. He died Jan. 6, 1960.
She lived in the Gibson City and the Saybrook area all of her life.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Gibson City, and a charter member of Scotland Efficiency Club, Gibson City.
