Lewis “Lew” M. Anders - 91, of Harleysville, PA; formerly of North Wales, PA passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at Rockhill Mennonite Community.

He was the loving husband of the late Shirley A. (Weisel) Anders for 52 years. Lew was born in Harleysville, PA to the late Menno C. & Lizzie D. (Moyer) Anders.

He worked on a poultry farm in Worcester, PA. Lew was employed as a truck driver for North Penn Transfer in Lansdale, PA for 35 years. After retiring in 1989, he worked part-time as a car jockey for the former Harley Auto in Harleysville and as a parts deliveryman for I.T. Landes in Harleysville.

Lew was a member of Christ Lutheran Church where he formerly served on the church council and the property committee. He was also a member of the Teamsters Local 384 in Norristown, the Grundsow Lodge Nummer Tzwae On Da Schibbach and the bowling league "Sellersville Rugmart" at Earl Bowl.

Lew was an avid Phillies and Eagles fan and enjoyed watching sports. He loved camping, traveling and going to the New Jersey shore. One of Lew’s passions was his love of driving. He also loved his poodles, Pepper & Trixie. Lew was known for telling his interesting real life stories.

He is survived by two daughters, Debbie J. Limbach & husband, Robert of Harleysville, PA, Cindy A. Heiser & husband, Paul of Harleysville, PA; two grandsons, Eric R. Limbach & wife, Lisa of Drexel Hill, PA, Michael T. Heiser & wife, Nichole of Telford, PA; a granddaughter, Stacey L. Cukierski & husband, William of Millington, NJ; three great-grandsons, Jason M. Heiser of Telford, PA, Emerson R. Cukierski of Millington, NJ, Jacob P. Heiser of Telford, PA and a sister, Betty Hackman of Souderton, PA.

In addition to his parents and wife, Lew was preceded in death by: two sisters, Alma Nyce & Sallie Landes and four brothers, Marvin, Earl, Willis & Linnaeus Anders.

Viewings will be held on Sunday, September 13, 2015 at Christ Lutheran Church, 2211 Mainland Road, P.O. Box 213, Kulpsville, Pennsylvania 19443 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm and on Monday, September 14, 2015 from 10:00 am – 11:00 am.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 14, 2015 at 11:00 am at Christ Lutheran Church. Burial will take place in the adjoining church cemetery.
