He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church of Bordentown.
Son of the late Elvin and Elizabeth Joy and husband of the late Doris Joy, he is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Edward Bucsku of Southampton; a brother and sister-in-law, Jerome and Mary Joy of Bordentown; his caregivers, who are his niece and nephew, Bonnie and Joseph Major of Hainesport; and his other nieces and nephew, Andrea Kresko of Bordentown, Sharon Hood of Alabama, Gary Joy of Yardville, Linda Weber of Burlington, and Donna Bijou of Bordentown; and great-nieces, great-nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. from the Huber-Moore Funeral Home, 517 Farnsworth Ave., Bordentown. Burial will follow at Bordentown Cemetery in Bordentown.
