Twin - LeVerne F Ebling

LeRoy Kenneth Ebeling, one of the twin sons of Mr and Mrs E F Ebeling of Terry, passed away quietly in the Terry hospital Saturday evening after a several days' illness of pneumonia. His sudden death was a shock to his parents, brothers, and sisters, and the entire community extends their sympathy to the bereaved relatives.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday afternoon at the Community Church with the the church crowed to overflowing with the many people who came to attend the last rites. The Rev R A Kettenacker, local Lutheran pastor conducted the services and spoke from the text contained in Mark 14,36: "Nevertheless, not what I will, but what Thou wilt."
Pallbearers were all classmates of Le Roy, and included Dick Alexander, Gayle Taylor, Jackie Faus, Bill Sherman, Arley Hanson, and Robert McFarland. Interment was made in the Terry cemetery.
LeRoy Kenneth Ebeling was born at Terry on May 1, 1921, one of twin sons born to Mr and Ms E F Ebellng. He was fourteen years, six months and twenty-nine days of age at the time of his death.
He was a member of the freshman class in the Terry high school and had a host of friends among the people of this community gained through his winning personality and boyish good nature that endeared him to all. He attended the Terry Schools during his life and took an active part in school activities.
He leaves to mourn his passing, his parents, Mr and Mrs E F Ebeling, two sisters, the Misses Doris and Gladys Ebeling, and two brothers Lloyd, and his twin LeVerne, besides other relatives.
