The service will be 11 a.m. Monday at New Harmony Presbyterian Church, Brogue RD 1. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Viewings will be 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Olewiler and Heffner Funeral Home Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion, and 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the church.
Mr. Johnson was born March 19, 1918, in Lower Chanceford Township. He was the son of the late Joseph and Sara (Kennedy) Johnson.
He was an auto technician for Innerst Auto Co. in Jacobus, retiring in 1989 after 37 years of service. A 1935 graduate of Lower Chanceford High School, he was a member of York County Garageman's Association and of New Harmony Presbyterian Church, where he was an elder, a church trustee and a member of the men's brotherhood and the choir.
Mr. Johnson also is survived by a daughter, Ann L. Bowman of Red Lion; nine grandchildren; and three step-grandchildren.
Officiating at the service will be his pastor, the Rev. John R. Maisch.
