Cynthia "Cindy" Ann Rose, 64, passed away Monday, June 18, 2012 at her home in Valley Springs, CA. Cindy was born in Perry, IA on December 8, 1947 to Francis and Donna (Jones) Phillips. Cindy retired from the Operating Engineers Credit Union as a loan officer after 10 years of service. She met her husband at the credit union after a set up by a nephew in 1989. She and Dale Rose were married on December 31, 1989 in Lake Tahoe. Cindy enjoyed traveling and her favorite times were trips to Quartzsite, AZ, Rose family reunions, trips with her family, and fishing tournaments. She was good with her hands, crocheted and was an incredible cook. Cindy donated her talents to humanitarian projects making dolls and blankets. She loved seeing the joy her crafts would bring to others. She was a wonderful wife and mother and her infectious laugh and positive personality will be sorely missed. Cindy is survived by her husband, Dale Rose of Valley Springs; son, William Rose of Valley Springs; sister, Linda Bell, of Livermore; step-daughter, Lisa Stapley and her husband, Shawn of St. George, UT; and many nieces and nephews who adored her. Friends are invited to attend a visitation Thursday, June 21 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Daneri Mortuary in Jackson.
