Mrs. Laura Evon Bennett Roach, 21, wife of Dean James Roach of 448 Lindsay Street #F, Kernersville, N.C., died Tuesday, September 21, 1999 at the North Carolina Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem, N.C. Mrs. Roach was born in Forsyth County April 14, 1978 to Joseph E. Bennett and Julie Yarborough Long. She was a waitress. Surviving are her husband, Dean James Roach, of the home; one step-daughter, Whitney Amber Roach, Regina, SK, Canada, Two brothers, Michael Joseph Bennett, Westfield, N.C., Jacob Aaron Bennett, Westfield, N.C.; Two step-sisters, Suzanne Michelle Long, Winston-Salem, N.C., Amy Lynn Holmes, Westfield, N.C.; one step-brother and wife, Stephen and Sharon Holmes, Walnut Cove, N.C.; her father and his wife, Joseph and Sandra Bennett, Westfield, N.C.; her mother and husband, Julie and Vernon Long, Winston-Salem, N.C., mother-in-law and husband, Jean Sayers and William, Ontario, Canada; father-in-law, Ted Roach, Ontario, Canada; grandparents, Jack and Allure Bennett, Westfield, N.C., Glenn and Ruth Yarborough, Greenville S.C. A graveside service will be conducted Friday, September 24, 1999 at 2:00 p.m. at Stoney Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery by the Rev. Carl Childs. Cox-Needham Funeral Home in Pilot Mountain is in charge of services.
