CRISMAN, NEWTON H. Services will be held in Hillcrest Mortuary Chapel tomorrow at 3 p.m. for Newton H. Crisman, 88, who died Feb. 27. The Rev. John May, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Olldale, will officiate. Mr. Crisman, born in Pennsylvania, resided in Kern County 54 years. Survivors include a son, Paul of Bakersfield; 4 daughters, Dorothy Whitzell of Bakersfield, Lena Dey of Florida, Virginia Kemppen of San Francisco and Grace Shovestull of Phoenix; 5 brothers, Clyde of Phoenix, Ruben of Long Beach, William of Compton. John of Bakersfield and Darrel of Pennsylvania; a sister, Freda of Pennsylvania; 15 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and a great-great­ grandchild. Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
