was taken from us suddenly on August 4, 2006. She was the wife of the late Edward Cola Bradley. She is survived by a daughter, Doris B. Bennett and husband, Danny; a son, Edward W. Bradley and wife, Lane. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren, Amanda Bennett, Grant Bradley and Cole Bradley. She has been "Nanny" to numerous nieces and nephews that she considered hers as well. Nellie is also survived by one brother, Cliff Rodgester of Emporia; sisters, Emma Bradley of Richmond, Vida Fajna of Emporia and Linda Tuck of Franklin; and a large, loving extended family. Nellie departed this life along with her sister, Dorothy Hobbs, who was a constant companion. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday (tonight) at Owen Funeral Home, Jarratt, Va., where the funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, August 9, 2006. Interment will follow at Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Zion Baptist Church,
