MRS. EVAN J BOTHWELL
Mrs. Catherine C. Bothwell, 83, of 226 Winchester Road, died Sunday in Lions-Manor Nursing Home, Cumberland. She had been in ill health one year. Born at Elk Garden, W. Va., she was a daughter of the late Patrick and Mary (Gaffney) King. Her husband, Evan J. Bothwcll, died in 1962. She was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church. Surviving are three Daughters, Mrs. William E. Winter, here; Mrs. Fred Ironsides, Altoona, Pa., and Mrs. Blair Twjgg, Arlington, Va.; five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received in the Silcox-Merrjtt Funeral Residence today from 7 to 9 p. m. Services will be conducted tomorrow at 1 p. m. in the funeral home by Rev Harold R. McClay Jr., pastor of Cresaptown United Methodist Church. Interment will be in Hillcrest Burial Park. Pallbearers will be Daniel Fenton, G. E. Wambaugh, Terry Burke, Charles McCarty, Louis Winter and Frank Noonan.
