Hulda Naab
Hulda Naab, 91, of Wood Lake died Monday November 25, 1991, at the Parkview Home in Belview. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, November 29, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Wood Lake. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will continue on Friday at the church one hour prior to services. Pastor Chester Zuleger will officiate and organist will be Esther Wolff. Honorary casket bearers will be Steve Knutson, Steve Paskewitz, Dennis Lessman, Rodney Naab, Roger Busiahn and Tom Sandow. Casket bearers will be Scott, Brian, Steven, Timothy and Wesley Naab and Nick Kissner.
Hulda Martha Zimmer Naab was born January 29, 1900, in Echo Township to parents William and Johanna (Marquardt) Zimmer. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. She married Walter Naab August 24, 1921. The couple lived on a farm south of Wood Lake until 1955 when they retired and moved into Wood Lake. She had been a resident of Parkview Home in Belview since 1980. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Wood Lake.
Hulda is survived by three sons and their spouses: Harlan and Marian Naab of Echo, Dennis and Delores Naab of Wood Lake and Kenneth and Judy Naab of Wood Lake; daughter-in-law Marjean Zimmer of Echo; a sister, Clara of Arlington; 15 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Orlean, two sisters, three brothers and two grandchildren: Curtis and Kris Naab.
The Sunset Funeral Home of Echo handled the arrangements.
