Ella Goodwin, 86, of East Orange, NJ, formerly of Steelton, entered eternal life on September 3, 2015, while in NJ.

Born in Harrisburg, daughter of the late Stonewall Jackson and Agnes Dozier Jackson, she was the widow of Kenneth E. Goodwin.

A graduate of Steelton High School, she retired from the Commonwealth of PA, Department of Labor and Industry with 35 years of service.

As a longtime member of The First Baptist Church of Steelton, she formerly served with the Ladies Auxiliary to the Trustees Ministry.

Mrs. Goodwin is survived by her daughter, Marsha L. Dennard; son-in-law, Larry Dennard; and grandson, Derek M. Dennard, all of East Orange, NJ; other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Goodwin's life will be celebrated at 11 a.m., Friday, September 11th, at her church, The First Baptist Church of Steelton, 1850 S. 19th Street, Harrisburg, with viewing 10-11 a.m.

Interment will be at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
