Harry Albert (Uncle Harry) OBERT died in 1946 (or 1947) at St. Joseph, Missouri from the effects of a stroke. He was the second child of Leonard and Elizabeth (Ball) OBERT. Uncle Harry was badly burned and as a result, partially disabled when a young man. He was acting the part of Santa Claus at a church Christmas party. Getting too close to the tree candles, the beard caught on fire. His shoulders, arms, neck and face were deeply burned and permanently scarred to the extent that he could not work regularly. He lived with his parents and moved with his widowed mother to Tarkio about 1917. He did all of the laundry out back of their house in an old Magtag washer. After his mother's death, continued to live with his sister, Dora Mae (Aunt Dora) at Tarkio, Missouri. Harry never married. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, William and George, a sister, Edith and two baby siblings, Ethel & Lennie
