Mr. Marshall Maurice Robertson, 67, of Walterboro, entered into eternal rest Friday, August 28, 2015 at Roper Hospital.

Funeral services will be held 11 am, Monday, August 31, 2015 at The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Home, Walterboro Chapel. Interment will follow in Glendale Memorial Cemetery, 2210 Mount Carmel Road, Walterboro.

Born August 21, 1948 in Walterboro, he was a son of the late Martin Luther Robertson and Alice Howell Robertson Crosby. He served his country in the United States Marine Corp during the Vietnam Era.

He was employed by the SC Highway Department where he began as a mechanic and retired after 30 years as a welder. He was the founder of Robertson’s Home Repair. He attended First Baptist Church of Walterboro. Marshall loved bicycling and enjoyed many outdoor activities such as camping, fresh water fishing and archery. He will always be known for giving 110 percent in all that he did.

Surviving are: his companion of 28 years, Patricia Stanfield of Walterboro; son, Billy Robertson of Walterboro; and two faithful friends, L.C. Breland and Randy Crosby.

The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6 until 8 at THE BRICE W. HERNDON AND SONS FUNERAL HOME, WALTERBORO CHAPEL, 1193 Bells Highway, Walterboro, 843.538.5408.
