Dorothy Mae Kiholm Adamson, wife of Robert G. Adamson, Jr., mother of Judith Goddard, Joyce Pratt, Robert Adamson III, and special friend to Robert's wife, Ellen Adamson, left her earthly body on December 12, 1998 after a courageous battle with cancer. Dorothy's positive attitude, love of life, and unfailing courage have been an inspiration to all.

Dorothy was a creator, whether as a nurse for Dr. Richard Johns, a gifted poet, or as a devoted member of the LDS Church. She loved to create things with her hands and to create ties with people that were and are enduring.

Dorothy fell in love with her husband, Robert (Bob) when she was 15 and married him two years later. Their marriage vows were renewed in the Salt Lake Temple. Dorothy and Bob's marriage of 56 years was one of devotion and love. Together they created a wonderful family and loved nothing more than to be at its heart. Bob preceded Dorothy in death one year ago. Dorothy's family will always adore her and remember the tremendous love she gave to all.

Dorothy is survived by her children; daughter-in-law; nieces and nephews; grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; her sisters, Lavine Willis, Jerry Ellingford; and three sisters-in-law, Helen Kiholm, Kathryn Taylor, and Janet Adamson.

Funeral services will be held at the Mount Olympus 10th Ward, 3610 East 3510 South on Thursday, December 17, 1998. The viewing will begin at 10:45 a.m. and funeral services at 12 p.m.

The family offers a special thank you to each of Dorothy's doctors, nurses and friends who loved and cared for her. Your kindness meant the world to her.

"She was something special, regal and fine
This woman of grace, this lady of mine."
D.M.K. Adamson
