James Gary Aldridge, 66, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri passed away September 5, 2015 at Poplar Bluff, Missouri. He was born February 8, 1949 at Harviell, Missouri to James Calvin Aldridge and LaVern (Adams) Aldridge.

On March 14, 1994 at Doniphan, Missouri James was married to Cordelia Ann Green. She preceded him in death on October 25, 2010.

He was a member of the Twin Oaks Baptist Church of Poplar Bluff, Missouri and had served in the United States Army for 1969 to 1971. James enjoyed fishing, hunting and collecting guns.

James is survived by, his mother LaVern Aldridge, and children, Gary Aldridge and wife Tammy of Flippin, Arkansas, Tonya Gunter of St. Clairsville, Ohio, James Aldridge and wife Angela of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Tommy Green and wife Pam of Poplar Bluff, Missouri and Kimberly Aldridge of Sikeston, Missouri. One sister, Linda Cates of Poplar Bluff, Missouri as well as Twelve Grandchildren and three Great-Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Calvin, his wife Cordelia and one son-in-law Christopher Gunter.

Visitation for Mr. Aldridge will be Wednesday September 9, 2015 starting at 9:00 a.m. in the Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel of Neelyville, Missouri with the funeral following at 12:00 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in the Three Springs Cemetery .
